The accident occurred in Wiener Neustadt, about 50 km from Vienna at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The crash caused a fire on the building’s roof, a Cobra official told journalists. No officer in the building was injured.

The aircraft, which had flown from Germany, was destroyed. It took firefighters several hours to put off the flame.

A parachute was found on the roof, suggesting that one of the victims had unsuccessfully tried to eject from the plane.
