Paris : At least seven people died Thursday when an Italian army helicopter crashed in eastern France, police in the city of Bar-le-Duc said.
The helicopter slammed into a field and burst into flames, a police spokesman said and added: “There were no survivors.”
It was unclear if there were more people aboard the craft when it crashed.
The reason for the accident also remained undetermined, since weather conditions were not unusual, the police spokesman said.
