“The real forces that create heavy losses and panic among people by frequent blasts in different parts of the country are now exposed before the public,” E. M. Abdul Rahiman, general secretary of Popular Front of India said.

“We have been demanding fair enquiry into all blasts. We demand constitution of an independent panel consisting of judges, journalists and human rights activists to look into all these blasts and encounters in the country, only then truth will come out” Rahiman told TwoCircles.net on phone from Bangalore.

“The role of former intelligence officers and military personnel in planning and executing these incidents which were used as tools to marginalize and terrorize Muslim community is very disturbing. The fact that the Hindutva terrorists were trained in RSS controlled sainik schools is to be viewed seriously,” said Rahiman. Already there were clues about the Sang Parivar connection of the blasts happened in places like Malegaon, Modasa, Nanded, Tenkasi, Kanpur, Hyderabad and Ajmeer. “After all these incidents, instead of following the evidences, Muslims in large numbers were haunted and imprisoned even under black laws,” he added.

The Popular Front also demanded immediate release of and adequate compensation for the innocent Muslims detained after blasts. It demanded the Central as well as state governments to stop the double standard in applying black laws and third degree methods on “Muslims and rendering a very soft approach to Hindutva culprits.”

The organization held its National Executive meeting today to take stock of the situation following disclosure about the involvement of Hindu terrorist groups in some bombings in the country and killing of some Keralites in an encounter in Kashmir.
The organization passed a resolution calling for full details of the killing of four Keralites allegedly in an encounter with security forces in Kashmir.
“The explanations put forth by security forces are weak with many loopholes. As the dead body was not seen even by the relatives and postmortem report was not delivered, it is not correct to depend only on the version of security agencies” the resolution says.
The meeting was presided over by Popular Front Chairman E. Abubacker and attended by its general secretary E. M. Abdul Rahiman and members including A. Sayeed, K. M. Shareef, Moulana Usman Beig and O. M. A. Salam.
