The text was signed by the first vice president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Enrique Roman Hernandez, and the interim president of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with the Peoples, Mun Jae Chol.

After the signing ceremony, the two officials held a fraternal meeting, highlighting the close relations between the peoples, parties, and governments.

The host leader reaffirmed Korean support for the battle of Cubans in the construction of socialism, and for the immediate release of the five Cuban anti-terrorists unfairly imprisoned in the US for almost ten years.

The Cuban delegation has developed a large program in the Korean nation, with visits to places of historic and cultural interests, and will attend the central acts for the 60th Foundation Anniversary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
