Shimla : Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal Wednesday flagged off 11 trucks carrying relief materials for the flood-affected people in Bihar.
The trucks, starting from Pinjore, 90 km from here, carried medicines, tarpaulins and other essential commodities worth Rs.35 million provided by the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Udyog Sangh, the Himachal Pradesh Drug Manufacturing Union, the District Journalists Union and the Sarv Kalyankari Sangh.
For transportation, four trucks were provided by the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Truck Operators Union and one by the Parwanoo Truck Operators Union.
