Harbin : At least 30 miners were feared to have been trapped in a coal mine accident in Hegang City, northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province early Saturday morning.
Quoting a government source, China’s Xinhua nwes agency reported that there were no immediate words on the cause of the accident.
The accident happened at around 4 a.m. when 44 miners were working underground, said the government source.
About a dozen miners managed to escape and told rescuers that more than 30 miners might be trapped in the mine.
