New Delhi : Delhi Police Commissioner Y.S. Dadwal said that the mastermind of the Sep 13 serial blasts here that killed 24 people was shot dead Friday.
Dadwal told reporters that Atif alias Bashir was one of two terrorists killed in a gun battle in Jamia Nagar in south Delhi. The other dead man was identified as Sajid.
Two other men escaped from the spot while a third suspect was arrested, Dadwal said.
