Islamabad : At least six people were killed and seven injured when a train was derailed by bomb blast in eastern Pakistan Friday, according to Geo TV channel.
The train was derailed when explosives planted on the track exploded in Bahawalpur city of Punjab, reported the TV channel said.
Six people, including one woman and three children, were killed and seven others sustained injuries, the report said.
The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.
