Riyadh : Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanogly strongly condemned the “terrorist” bomb attack in the Syrian capital, Damascus, Saturday killing and wounding over 20 civilians.
Ihsanogly said in a statement the attack was against the teachings of Islam and principles of peace.
He expressed OIC’s firm rejection to all types of terrorism, and voiced sympathy for families of the victims.
A booby-trapped car was detonated southern Damascus earlier today killing 17 people and wounding 14 others.
