New Delhi: The Nelson Mandela Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Jamia Millia Islamia, is organizing a conference on South Asian Peace Studies Review: Curriculum Development on South Asian Peace Processes on September 30-October 1 at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.
The 2-day program will cover various issues related to the topic including courses in South Asian universities that teach South Asian peace processes, the issues they cover and whether the creation of course modules on South Asian peace processes be useful.
In a session on Draft Outline of South Asian Course Modules, the participants will discuss following questions: What would be the most useful issues to cover on South Asian peace processes, and what kind of structure would be the most adaptable to the needs of the different courses participants teach?
The participants include intellectuals and academicians from various countries including India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Europe.
