Joginder, 35, and the other prisoner were being escorted aboard the Metro train by three Uttar Pradesh policemen from Tis Hazari district courts to Chandni Chowk, a Metro spokesperson said.

At Chandni Chowk station at 4.30 p.m. Joginder fell on the Metro track after being dragged by a train. He was tied by a rope to the other prisoner and had just got out of the train when the door closed, trapping the other prisoner inside the Metrio coach.
