AMU gets new warden for students’ welfare

New Delhi: Prof. M. Zuber Khan and Dr. Mohammad Shakil Samadani are new entrants in academic management of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) who will look after students’ welfare and educational coordination respectively.

Senior professor of Mathematics department of the university, Prof. M. Zuber Khan today assumed the responsibility of the dean of students’ welfare. He has the department of Mathematics for two terms and worked as dean of Science Faculty. Prof. He entered AMU in 1963 as a student and earned Gold Medal. He has authored about four dozen research articles in national and international journals. He has also worked as a member of the expert committee of University Grants Commission as well as of selection committees of Public Service Commission.

Dr. Mohammad Shakil Samadani, the new coordinator of AMU’s General Education Center, is presently reader in the law department. He replaces Prof. Abul Kalam Qasmi. Dr. Shakil Samadani is also a member of AMU Media Committee.
