Rock Garden, which is spread over an area of over 40 acres, was designed by its self-taught curator Nek Chand. It is completely built from thrown-away household and industrial waste items.

“Art has no form and it does not understand any boundary. It only spreads the message of love and accord among the masses. Rock Garden is the universal symbol of communal harmony where so many art forms come together,” said Tony Rajer, a trustee of the Nek Chand Foundation and its coordinator in America.

“The foundation is pleased to support this international gesture where various renowned artists of the world, who love Rock Garden and its message of love and peace, would come together.”

Rock Garden has attracted the fancy of spectators from all across the world and hundreds of tourists, both domestic and foreigners, visit it every day.

The art works will be donated to the Rock Garden in a formal ceremony by the end of this month.
