The meeting will take place Wednesday and the higher education secretary will preside over it, said a senior IIM official.

The top management schools, too, have already met to discuss the problem before giving a satisfactory answer to the HRD ministry. At least 241,000 aspirants had registered to appear for the first online CAT examination spread over 11 days. However, all students could not appear for the exam due to technical glitches and virus.

The US-headquartered firm Prometric was holding the test for seven IIMs at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode and Shillong.
