Mumbai : Leading private carrier Jet Airways Tuesday announced direct flight from Dhaka to Mumbai starting Wednesday.
It will initially operate six days a week, barring Tuesdays, and fly daily from March 29.
“This will be our third flight from Bangladesh to India, and will connect Dhaka with several destinations across North America, Europe, as well as eight destinations across the Gulf and Middle East, over the airline’s Mumbai hub,” Nikos Kardassis, the acting CEO of the airline said in a statement.
The airline currently flies daily from Dhaka to Delhi and Kolkata.
The flight will depart Dhaka’s Zia International Airport at 2.30 p.m. and arrive at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 4.10 p.m. On return, the flight will depart from Mumbai at 8.30 a.m. and arrive at Dhaka at 1 p.m., the airline said.
