Jamnagar (Gujarat) : A court here has issued a bailable warrant against Jamanagar Mayor Kanaksinh Jadeja after he failed to appear before it in a two-year-old case relating to a dishonoured cheque.
First Class Judicial Magistrate Judge A.A. Nanavati Friday issued the warrant against Jadeja.
The case relates to a cheque of Rs.125,000 the mayor had issued to Jamnagar’s Mahila Co-operative Bank. The bank filed a complaint after the cheque bounced.
