New Delhi : Delhiites may not enjoy the winter sun any more and may have to shed layers as the weatherman has predicted warmer days ahead.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 22.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 9.2 degree Celsius Thursday.
“There will be partly cloudy skies and the minimum temperatures may increase in coming days,” an official of the Safdurjung Meteorological office said.
Just three days ago, Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 5 degree Celsius and the temperatures have been climbing since.
The maximum temperature in the coming days will hover around 22 degree Celsius and minimum may go up to 12 degree Celsius, the official said.
There was a mild fog cover in the early morning hours and visibility was recorded at 500 metres. The official said there is a likelihood of a shallow fog cover in the following days as well.
