“I have seen a real commitment by the Pakistan government in fighting terrorism,” Clinton said while interacting with students at Delhi University.

“Anything we can do to support those who are fighting terrorism we will do,” she said.

“So we have a very personal and real interest in working with the Pakistani government and with other like-minded countries,” she added.

Alluding to the July 16 India-Pakistan joint statement at Sharm-el-Sheikh in Egypt, Clinton praised both countries for agreeing to share intelligence on terror attacks.

Terrorism originating from Pakistan and the Mumbai attacks will figure prominently in Clinton’s discussions with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna later in the day.
