Kochi: “We live in a secular country, so we should have a friendly attitude towards our non-Muslim fellow citizens,” said Abdul Hameed Madeeni, the new President of Kerala Jam’iyathul Ulema (Madavoor Faction).
“Prophet (PBUH) has asked Muslims to keep good relations with our neighbours, without considering their religion. We (the organization) do not discriminate between religions when indulging in social activities.” Madeeni added that each Muslim has the responsibility to understand truth and that organization should not act as a barrier in realizing the truth.
