“The PPP projects will be given a fresh look in the 100-day action plan of our ministry to be announced on July 1 in New Delhi. It will give a clear view on these projects,” Vasan told reporters.

To mediapersons’ persistent queries to at least share the broad contours of the plan, the minister asked them to wait for the formal announcement.

Asked about a ship from Europe carrying relief material for internally displaced people in Sri Lanka that the island had turned away, the minister said: “The central and the state (Tamil Nadu) governments will see that the relief material reaches the affected people. Necessary steps are being taken towards that.”

The ship is currently anchored in the international waters near here.
