New Delhi : Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh said Thursday that that he will never desert party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
“Main jeevan bhar Mulayam Singh ko nahin choroonga (I will not leave Mulayam Singh in my lifetime),” Amar Singh told reporters here.
In the wake of a row with party colleague Azam Khan over the candidature of Jaya Prada from Raipur in Uttar Pradesh, Amar Singh had warned some days ago that he would take a major decision when the Lok Sabha polls end.
This had led to speculation that Amar Singh may quit the Samajwadi Party.
