Abu Dhabi: The six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) members and South Korea have concluded a three-day technical meeting as part of negotiations for a free trade agreement between the two parties, WAM news agency reported Sunday.
The provisions and legal texts on the issues of trade in services, investment, rules of country of origin and customs procedures were discussed during the meeting that concluded in Dubai Friday in preparation for the next round of negotiations between the two sides.
The UAE delegation to the meeting was headed by Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, minister of foreign trade and was composed of representatives from the ministries of finance and economy, Central Bank and the Federal Customs Authority as well as the local customs departments.
