New Delhi : The capital woke up to yet another chilly morning Tuesday, with the minimum temperature touching 9.3 degrees Celsius. Met officials, however, predicted that the mercury will rise over the next few days.
“The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 a.m. today (Tuesday) was a notch below the average, at 9.3 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 26 degree Celsius,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
“However, over the next few days the slow advance of the western disturbances over the southern part of the country is expected to cause a rise in temperature here,” the official added.
The minimum temperature recorded Monday was 9.6 degrees Celsius.
