New Delhi: Two employees of a businessman were robbed of Rs.39 lakh (Rs.3.9 million) at gun point in the national capital, police said Wednesday.
Ramesh Mittal and Mahavir were returning on their scooter and motorbike, respectively, after collecting cash from their employer Vijay Pal’s client when they were waylaid by armed assailants.
The incident occurred in Maurya Enclave locality of north-west Delhi around 7.30 p.m. Tuesday.
“Mittal and Mahavir were going to delver the cash to Vijay Pal when they were robbed. We suspect an insider is responsible for the incident,” said a police officer.
