Vienna : Talks on processing Iran’s nuclear fuel abroad concluded in Vienna Wednesday with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Mohamed ElBaradei saying that capitals involved should respond to his draft proposal by Friday.
Details of the agreement were not immediately known, but ElBaradei made clear that all parties of the talks – Iran, Russia, France and the US – were part of his proposal.
Iran’s delegation chief Ali Asghar Soltanieh refused to answer journalists’ questions whether his country was in fact ready to ship most or any of it’s enriched uranium stock out of the country for further enrichment.
“You’ll get an answer to your question on Friday,” he said.
The Vienna talks had been held up because Iran insisted that France should not be part of the agreement.
