Seoul : A three-day Media Summit Congress started its preliminary session with a dinner hosted by city mayor at a suburban area here last night.
The three-day conference was organised by the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies on “Challenges and Responses on Multi-media era, focusing on Video and Broadcasting”.
About 59 news agencies of 46 countries were participating in the event.
Pakistan is being represented at the summit by the Managing Director Associated Press of Pakistan, Muhammad Riaz.
Prime Minister of Democratic Republic of Korea inaugurated the second-day session with his speech, emphasizing the need of maximum interaction among the Asia media organizations for promoting the cause of Asian countries.
