“(NDA convenor) Sharad Yadav did telephone me but we have taken no decision on the matter yet,” Patnaik told reporters here.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), a major constituent of the NDA, recently announced plans to hold a rally at New Delhi against corruption along with other NDA partners after the winter session of parliament concludes Monday.

Yadav earlier said he was in touch with friendly opposition parties, including the BJD, and invited their leaders to join the rally.

Patnaik has said in the past that his party would not support the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) led by Congress or the NDA.

The BJD was a part of the NDA till the 2009 Lok Sabha elections.
