Kolkata : India were 342 for five in the first innings at the end of second day’s play in the second cricket Test against South Africa at the Eden Gardens here Monday.
V.V.S. Laxman was batting at 9 and Amit Mishra 1. Virender Sehwag scored 165 and Sachin Tendulkar 106 – his 47th Test century. India now lead by 46 runs.
South Africa were bowled out for 296 in their first innings in the morning.
