Hearing his arguments seeking anticipatory bail, Justice A.K Pathak refused to give any interim relief to Sajjan Kumar and the other accused, saying the matter requires no urgency.

He listed the matter for further hearing Feb 22.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Lokesh Kumar Wednesday issued non-bailable warrants for the arrest of Sajjan Kumar and six others in connection with the 1984 anti-sikh riots.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had filed a charge sheet against Sajjan Kumar and others in two cases for allegedly instigating some mobs that killed over 3,000 Sikhs across Delhi in the days following the assassination of then prime minister Indira Gandhi Oct 31, 1984.
