“Punjab is investing heavily in developing human resource according to the changing needs of the industry. To provide quality workforce back up to the upcoming industry, an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has been established here in Ropar town,” Badal said here.

He added the country’s second Indian School of Business (ISB) is also coming up in the state.

“Many colleges and universities would be established in different parts of Punjab. Therefore, we invite NRIs to exploit this strength of Punjab by investing in the state,” he said, promising all infrastructure support to the NRIs.

“We would provide every sort of help to the NRIs interested. The state government would make arrangements for adequate power supply, single window clearance of all ventures and would also ensure world class road and air connectivity with other states,” he added.
