Int’l gathering of Muslim women scientists kicks off in Tehran

Tehran, Jan 27, IRNA – The First International Gathering of Women Scientists of Islamic World kicked off in Tehran on Wednesday.
38 scholarly women from across the Islamic world including Albania, Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran, Pakistan, Morocco, Iraq, Oman, Tajikistan, Syria and Niger are participating in the two-day event which is jointly hosted by Iran’s Ministry of High Education and the ISESCO National Commission in Iran.

The gathering was inaugurated by Iran’s Vice President for Scientific and Technological Affairs Mrs. Nasrin Soltankhah.
