Speaking to Japanese media people in a banquet called ‘Iran’s night’ on Friday evening, on the occasion of thirty first anniversary of victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Araqchi said people and governments know each other through reporters’ work and photographers’ cameras.

“So, reporters and photographers’ duties and work in all ages, past and future, are very sensitive,” he added.

Araqchi appreciated Japanese media work during Iran’s Islamic revolution as well as during 8-year imposed war, adding that the work of these people helped world peace and stability.

He also appreciated the work of Japan’s ambassador to Iran during Islamic revolution, in 1979, and two Japanese reporters who were injured during imposed war of Iraq against Iran.

A number of guests in the banquet talked on their memories during work in Iran, either during the revolution or the war with Iraq and chemical attacks of Saddam forces against Iranian fighters and the crimes of the MKO terrorist grouplet in Iran.
