Tehran : Minister of Agriculture Jihad Sadeq Khalilian said on Saturday that expansion of agricultural cooperation will be to the benefit of Iran.
Speaking to reporters, he said promotion of mutual cooperation with African states would help Iran export engineering services to those countries providing a good opportunity for Iranian private sector to play a role in the African market.
On expansion of cooperation with Senegal, he said that presidents of Iran and Senegal have called for cooperation and that the two countries officials are expected to reach fruitful agreements in the future.
Iran is to export technical and engineering services to Senegal and the role of Iranian private sector in promotion of such cooperation would be very high, he said.
Senegalese Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Ms. Fatou Gaye Sarr who was present in the press conference called for expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries.
