Delhi government to sell pulses at lower rates

New Delhi: Delhi government Wednesday said it would sell pulses at lower rates at 400 outlets across the capital.

“Delhi government will sell pulses at cheaper rates from 290 Mother Dairy outlets, 84 Kendriya Bhandar outlets and 13 NCCF (National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation) outlets from March 8,” said Delhi Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Haroon Yusuf.

“We have decided to reduce price of pulses up to Rs.5. We are taking strict action on black-marketeers and the weights and measure department is monitoring to check the transparency in selling of pulses,” he added.
