This Vodka brand is one of the associate partners of the five-day fashion week and Delhi-based Ramani took inspiration from the colours and patterns of Mexico and Africa to bring out the summer/resort line.

The show was divided into five segments and each one of them was named after a martini. And Malini supported it with an equally interesting audio-visual tape that weaved the story of a girl who roams around like a wild soul till she finds true love in the city of dreams — Mumbai.

The girl starts off her journey from Mexico and wears bright colours like sunflower yellows and fuchsia with a bit of applique work in Mayan and Aztec patterns on kaftans and dresses.

Then she moves to south of France in jumpsuits, wrap dresses in colours like siren red and azure without any embellishment or embroidery.

After this, she lands at Pushkar for soul search and wears a lot of creamy whites with Rajasthani threadwork.

Then she heads to Africa and is seen in zebra printed wraps, snake print tunics in the shades of black, white and beige.

Finally she heads to Mumbai and is seen in golden draped gown.

“Being an avid traveller, I weaved the story of a girl who is soul-searching. For each city she travels to, she wears the specialty of that city and drinks a martini that suits the climate. The line is very exclusive and chic, designed for modern a woman who has a keen sense of style and knows how to have a good time,” Malini told IANS after the post-show conference.

Bollywood actors Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Kapoor and Chunky Pandey were seen cheering their wives Mehr Jesia, Maheep Kapoor and Bhavna respectively as the three ladies walked the ramp in golden gowns for the last segment.
