“I am still on very good terms with him,” she told journalists during an interaction at the Indian Women’s Press Corps here.

Answering queries, Jaya Bachchan did not rule out the possibility of joining Amar Singh in his future political endeavours.

She said there was very little time before her Rajya Sabha term gets over and she did not plan too much in advance.

Jaya Bachchan’s term in the upper house of parliament will come to an end in July.

She said the party has not changed with Amar Singh’s exit, but his absence was felt.

The actor-turned-politician also defended party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav’s controversial remarks on the women’s reservation bill, saying Yadav wanted a debate on the issue.

Answering queries, she said women MPs were united on the women’s reservation bill.
