Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Tuesday evening that Muslim and Christian clerics can pave the way for establishment of justice throughout the globe.
The Iranian President made the remark in a meeting with visiting President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue in the Roman Curia, Cardinal Jean-Luis Pierre Tauran.
He underlined the need for closer cooperation between the Muslim and Christian Ulema in order to help establish justice and peace in the entire world.
All problems facing the human beings are resulted from the distance taken from divine religions, President Ahmadinejad said, urging clerics to circulate the realities of divine religions.
During the meeting, Cardinal Tauran handed over a message from Pope Benedict xvi to Ahmadinejad.
