Bangalore: To intensify the demand for justice for Babri Masjid, the Popular Front of India (PFI) is going to hold nationwide campaign under the caption ‘Babri Masjid Demands Justice’ from December 6, 2010 to January 30, 2011.
The decision to hold the campaign was taken at the meeting of state presidents and secretaries meeting of PFI held yesterday at its Bangalore office.
During the campaign various programs like public meetings, seminars in major cities, poster campaigns, and handbill distribution will be undertaken.
Besides, December 10 will be observed as ‘Anti-Terrorism Day’ while special awareness programs will be conducted on Dec. 6 and on January 30 to mark the anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition and anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination respectively.
The commencing and concluding dates of the campaign, December 6 and January 30 are the most unforgettable days in the history of India.
It was January 30, 1948 when Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated by agents of Hindutva fascism and on December 6, 1992 the country witnessed another attack on its secular fabric when the same forces demolished the centuries old Babri Masjid.
