New Delhi : Ratan Tata, chairman of the Tata group of companies, Monday moved the Supreme Court seeking a stay on the unauthorised publication of telephone intercepts of corporate lobbyist Nira Radia in the 2G spectrum scam.
Ratan Tata has pleaded for the protection of his privacy and unauthorised publication of transcripts of the telephone intercepts. The transcripts are a part of evidence in the 2G spectrum scam that had cost the state exchequer thousands of crores of rupees.
