New Delhi : The three Ugandan officials who were injured in an accident at the Commonwealth Games Village are fine and back at work, Delhi Police said Thursday.
Delhi Police spokesperson Rajan Bhagat told IANS the incident took place Tuesday night when a tyre killer malfunctioned at the Games Village.
“The officials’ car was damaged but they received minor injuries only. They were taken to the polyclinic inside the Village for treatment and were discharged in a few hours,” Bhagat added.
Sadhana Dewal, project officer of the polyclinic in the Games Village, said the officials were healthy and back at work.
