“We have the numbers,” the former Karnataka chief minister told IANS on phone.

Kumaraswamy, who is accused by the BJP of fomenting the crisis in its ranks and in the state, said the “future strategy of the JD-S would be revealed only after defeating the government” of Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa.

“Hundred percent, the government will fall. Yeddyurappa cannot win the confidence vote,” Kumaraswamy said.

He said he has not held any discussion with the Congress regarding government formation in case the BJP government falls.

“The strategy would be revealed after the confidence voting,” he said.

Kumaraswamy was camping since Thursday night at a five-star resort in south Goa where 14 rebel Karnataka legislators have been kept. He was holding talks with them.
