Everybody present in the meeting unanimously favored to organize Sir Syed Day in an appropriate manner to pay homage to the founder.

The meeting also resolved that Sir Syed Dinner will be arranged in every Hall of residence in a traditional style and the food will be served in the Dining Halls. The senior teachers of the University, eminent former teachers and literary and cultural figures will be invited as the guest of the occasion.

The Sir Syed Day commemoration meeting will be held at Kennedy Hall Auditorium in a befitting manner.

The meeting also decided that this year Sir Syed Ahmad Khan International Award-2010 will be given in another function because due to some internal problem the Jury could not meet to declare the winner.
