Islamic Tourism Conference and Travel Mart to be held from Oct 28-31

Kuala Lumpur : The four-day International Islamic Tourism Conference and Travel Mart 2010 will be held, beginning Oct 28, at the Putra World Trade Centre here to showcase Islamic tourism and travel trade of the world.

The conference is also aimed at sharing and discussing current issues, tourism attributes and new frontiers on Islamic tourism, as well as strengthening the Malaysian travel trade industry.

According to a statement from the Islamic Conference Centre here, former deputy prime minister and World Islamic Economic Forum chairman Musa Hitam was scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the two-day conference, beginning Oct 28.

The travel mart, to be held throughout the four-day event, will be participated by travel agencies, hotels and resorts, airlines, banks and restaurants from Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Turkey, Uzbekistan, China, India, Thailand and Singapore.

Those interested can visit the exhibition on the last two days as the exhibition from Oct 28-29 is meant only for industry players.
