Patna: More than 66,000 suspected troublemakers have filled up bonds promising not to disrupt the coming Bihar assembly election, police said Friday.
The authorities have identified a total of 66,585 people they feel can cause violence during the October-November ballot. “They were made to fill up bonds to ensure they do not create trouble,” a police official said.
The Election Commission has announced month-long polls to rotate security forces all across the state.
