Court reserves order on former cricketer’s plea

New Delhi : The Delhi High Court Monday reserved its order on the anticipatory bail plea of former Indian cricketer Jacob Joseph Martin in a case of forging documents to facilitate illegal immigration.

Justice Hima Kohli said: “The order is reserved. However, the Delhi Police is directed not to take further action till the order is passed by this court.”

On March 15, Justice Kohli refused interim protection against arrest to Martin, who represented India in one-day cricket matches in 1999.
