Lucknow : In a daring daylight robbery, two men on a motorcycle whipped out their weapons Tuesday and looted around Rs.17 lakh from a bank van delivering cash to ATMs.
They escaped with a bag containing the cash. The van belonged to Punjab National Bank.
“They assaulted a security personnel in the vehicle,” police inspector A.K. Singh told reporters here.
