New Delhi: If you stay in Delhi or happen to visit Delhi during Ramadan, then visiting Jama Masjid at the time of Aftar (breaking of fast), got to have on your menu. The historic mosque hosts hundreds of people who visit the mosque to break their fast. Most of them are with their families.
Even if you happen to pass by and need to break your fast then don’t worry because Jama Masjid also has an arrangement for collective Aftar. And if you want to visit just to click photos, the good news for you is that the mosque doesn’t charge any thing for that.
The feeling is like breaking fast in the background of the beautiful piece of history, religion and architecture, giving a sense of joy which any other place would never have generated. In order to capture precisely this sense of history, mixed with religion and culture, TCN spent one evening in the centuries old mosque.
