Pakistani hurt as flight hits turbulence

Islamabad : A passenger, who had not fastened his seatbelt, got hurt when the aircraft he was travelling in on a domestic flight in Pakistan dropped several hundred feet during a turbulence.

The passenger was onboard a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Multan to Islamabad when turbulence hit Friday, Dawn quoted sources as saying.

The plane hit the “air-pocket” shortly before landing at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport, in Islamabad.

Mohammad Noor Deen got hurt when he was thrown out of his seat as he had not fastened the seatbelt.

Everybody else onboard was unhurt, the media report said.
