New Delhi : The Rajya Sabha will take up debate on all versions of the Lokpal bill at 12 noon after a statement by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.
This was conveyed to the members by Deputy Chairman K. Rahman Khan, who adjourned the upper house till 12 noon.
The debate started in Lok Sabha at 11 a.m., with Mukherjee making a statement on the Lokpal bill issue and urging for a dispassionate discussion on a strong Lokpal bill. The debate comes as activist Anna Hazare’s fast entered its 12th day.
