Srinagar: For the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir state board of school education [JK BOSE] results, five candidates’ secured 100 percent marks in the matriculation examination. The results were declared on Wednesday, out of 50685 candidates who had appeared in the exams held in October this year, 29280 were declared successful.
Five candidates secured 100 percent marks and created history in the Jammu and Kashmir state board of school education results, while 14 candidates have secured 498 out of 500 marks.
The Candidates who secured 100 percent marks are Khair-ul-Nisa, Naseer Ahmad Rather, Hafsa Haroon, Amir Mustafa and Khoban Jamshed.
The overall pass percentage this year has reached 66.13 percent from 65.98 percent last year.
Talking to Agence India Press, Spokes Person, J&K BOSE, Showkat Usman said, “It was the first time in the history of matriculation results that five candidates secured 100 percent marks. This year we have introduced series system for the first time and it proved beneficial for candidates.”
While sharing her happiness with the Agence India Press, Hafsa Haroon, one of the candidates who secured 100 percent marks, said, “I was always praying to Allah and this helped me in securing 100 percent marks. Hard work was the other factor which led me to this success.”
